Which product did you buy? Sections 1 to 6 are about atomAI subscriptions, which you buy from us. Scribe is bought from us too — once, or as a yearly subscription; for those, see Section 6.

1. Cancelling your subscription

• Cancel any time on our cancellation page (no sign-in needed), in your web account, or by email to [email protected].
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period (month or year). Until then you keep full access to your plan. There is no partial refund for the remainder of a period that has already been paid and started.
• Yearly plans after the first year: a yearly plan is not charged for a second year. After twelve months it continues month by month at the monthly price, so you can stop at any time with effect from the end of the month you paid for.
• Downgrades work the same way: the lower plan starts with the next billing period.

2. Statutory right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may withdraw from a newly concluded paid subscription within 14 days without giving reasons — subject to Section 3.

What we actually do — more than the law asks. For the first withdrawal on an account we waive that proportionate amount entirely and refund the full sum, nothing deducted. Should you subscribe again later, that new contract carries its own 14-day right of withdrawal — we never refuse it — and we then apply the statutory rule above.

3. What your “start immediately” consent means

When you start a paid plan you expressly ask us to begin providing the service immediately, before the 14-day withdrawal period has run out. That consent does not take your withdrawal right away. It only changes what happens if you use it:

• You can still withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract, without giving reasons. Every paid subscription you conclude has its own withdrawal right — a later one is never refused because you used an earlier one.
• The law (§ 357a (2) BGB) lets us keep a reasonable, day-by-day share for the time the service was already available to you. For the first withdrawal on an account we waive that and refund the full amount, nothing deducted.
• On any further withdrawal we apply the statutory rule instead of the waiver: you get back what you paid minus the pro-rata value of the days used. The refund goes back without undue delay and within 14 days, using your original payment method.
• Your withdrawal right expires only once the service has been fully performed (§ 356 (4) BGB) — for a subscription that is the end of the term you booked (the month or the year you paid for), not the moment the app starts working.

Example. You start Basic monthly (€11) and withdraw on day 5. If this is the first withdrawal on your account we refund the full €11 and end the subscription immediately — we don’t charge you for the five days you had it. If you had already withdrawn from an earlier subscription, we refund €11 minus five days’ worth (5 ⁄ 30 of €11 ≈ €1.83), so about €9.17, and the plan ends just the same.

You can declare the withdrawal with one click in your account while the 14 days are running, online at atomai.pro/withdraw (no sign-in needed), or by email or post using the form in Section 7 — all of these are equally valid.

3a. Our 14-day money-back guarantee for atomAI Scribe

Because Scribe unlocks the moment you buy, the statutory right of withdrawal ends right there (Section 3). We did not want that to be the end of it, so we give you a guarantee of our own on top.

What we promise. If atomAI Scribe is not right for you, ask for your money back within 14 days of your purchase and we refund the full price. You do not have to give a reason. We pay back the way you paid, usually within a few working days.

How to use it — one click. Open atomai.pro/withdraw or atomai.pro/cancel (no sign-in needed), or use the button in your account, and confirm. The refund is then issued automatically, and you get a confirmation by email. An email to [email protected] within the 14 days works just as well — both are equally valid.

• What it covers: every paid Scribe purchase — the one-time purchases (Minimum, Standard, Maximum) and a yearly plan bought within the last 14 days. For a yearly plan we refund the full year and the contract ends at once, so nothing is charged again. It does not cover the monthly follow-on price after the first year: that is not a new purchase, and it can be cancelled any month.
• What happens to your access: it ends with the refund and your devices are signed out. You keep no access to a product you have been paid back for.
• Who gives the guarantee: the provider named in the Imprint, at the address stated there.
• How long: 14 days, counted from the day of your purchase.

This guarantee is voluntary and in addition to your statutory rights, which it does not limit in any way. In particular your warranty rights if something is defective (Section 4) and the statutory right of withdrawal where it still applies (Section 2) remain untouched.

4. No other refunds

• Beyond the statutory rights above and our 14-day money-back guarantee for Scribe (Section 3a), payments are non-refundable; in particular — once those 14 days have passed — there are no refunds for unused time after cancellation, unused usage volume, dissatisfaction with AI-generated results, or third-party platform changes outside our control (e.g. an API being restricted by a platform).
• Your statutory warranty rights for defective services remain unaffected: if the Service is defective, the legal remedies (cure, price reduction, termination for cause) apply.
• Outside the guarantee in Section 3a, any goodwill refund we may grant in an individual case is voluntary and creates no claim for the future.

5. Free plan

The Free plan is provided free of charge and can be ended by either side at any time; no refunds arise from it.

6. atomAI Scribe purchases

Since 21 September 2026 we sell Scribe ourselves. The purchase contract is with us (the provider named in the Imprint), we issue the invoice, and refunds go through us. Payment is processed by Stripe — Stripe is the payment provider, not the seller. No VAT is charged (small business, § 19 UStG). Purchases made through Gumroad before that date stay with Gumroad under their terms; for those the receipt email from Gumroad is the fastest route.

There is no 14-day right of withdrawal for a Scribe purchase — one-time, yearly plan or upgrade. That is not a rule we invented: at checkout you expressly ask us to unlock Scribe immediately and confirm that you know this ends your right of withdrawal (§ 356 (5) BGB). You declare this in a mandatory tick box that is not pre-ticked, and the confirmation email repeats it so you have it in writing. Without that tick no payment is started at all.

What that does not take away. Your rights if something is defective are untouched: if Scribe does not work as described, you are entitled to a fix or your money back, whatever you consented to. And on top of that, our 14-day money-back guarantee (Section 3a) gives you a way out even when nothing is wrong with Scribe at all.

A yearly Scribe plan runs for one year and then continues month by month at a twelfth of the yearly price — €1 a month for Minimum, €2 for Standard, €3.67 for Maximum. From then on you can cancel any month, and you are never committed for more than one month ahead. We email you two weeks before the switch, and you can stop earlier at any time in your account or at atomai.pro/cancel — you keep the year you paid for.

If Scribe will not activate, you were charged twice or you got the wrong tier, write to [email protected] anyway — we can fix activation and device problems ourselves.
